Heaven & Earth

Heaven and Earth

For quite some time I’d been wondering about certain passages of Scripture which didn’t seem to make sense. And the Lord revealed an understanding that led to a bible study I call The Earth Dwellers.heaven&earth

Hos 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
KJV

This is from the account of the two witnesses:

Rev 11:8-10
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
KJV

So, my question arose, are “they that dwell upon the earth” everybody? That doesn’t make sense. Here is a key to the riddle:

Rev 12:11-12
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
KJV

Christ Jesus spoke about the realm His followers walk in:

John 8:23
23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
(this is not to His followers)
